Team Approach

We educate patients about everything related to orthodontic care, from the proper methods of cleaning their teeth and gums to how their diet affects treatment.  We discuss in detail foods that should be handled in special ways. Hard and sticky foods should be avoided.  Some examples are ice, sticky candy, and very hard pizza crust. Sugar-free gum is encouraged because it increases salivation and has a cleansing effect.

The Triangle Orthodontics team is friendly and courteous.  We strive to create a comfortable, relaxing environment.  Patients and their families are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback.  It is our goal to make your orthodontic experience as pleasant as possible.

Orthodontic Emergencies

Fortunately, there are very few emergencies associated with braces.  If an emergency arises after office hours, Dr. Rahman can be paged through a 24-hour answering service by calling (919) 968-0015.
